Marketing Assistant (Digital), Marketing Department

The role:

We are currently looking to recruit a Marketing assistant to join our Marketing department in Nicosia. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing and optimizing the company’s marketing efforts, delivering the company’s marketing strategy across the full digital portfolio, including intranet, website, social media and broadcast email, and for planning and monitoring the company’s ongoing presence on social media.

The Responsibilities:

  • Preparing online newsletters and promotional emails and organizing their distribution through various channels.
  • Maintaining and updating the company’s website with relevant and engaging content.
  • Launching optimized online adverts to increase company and brand awareness.
  • Being actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization etc.).
  • Measuring performance of digital marketing efforts, using a variety of Web analytics tools.
  • Tracking, monitoring and creating timely reports that include analysis and tracking across the digital portfolio.
  • Performing other relevant activities within the overall scope of the department.

The individual:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the area of Marketing, Business Administration or a relevant discipline will be considered an advantage.
  • Relevant professional experience in a marketing department, preferably as a Digital executive.
  • Experience in acting as a liaison among several work groups and departments.
  • Hands- on experience in managing SEO, PPC, e-mail marketing and social media communities.
  • Deep understanding of Google Analytics, Adwords, and other web analytics tools.
  • Adaptability and agility to change, ability to project manage efficiently with good attention to detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Greek and the English language.
  • An Internet savvy in order to perform these tasks properly.
  • Excellent and effective communication and writing skills.
  • Excellent ability to build and maintain rapport with other members of staff in other departments.
  • High creativity, professionalism, integrity and trustworthiness
