The role:

We are currently seeking to recruit an Advisor/Senior Advisor Penetration tester to join our Management Consulting team in Nicosia. The successful candidate will be participating in the delivery of challenging and demanding security assessments for clients in Cyprus and abroad. This is a hands-on role, requiring technical skills and good understanding of information security principles.

The Responsibilities:

  • Being part of a highly motivated team that will be involved in all the phases of penetration testing engagements.
  • Performing infrastructure, web and mobile application penetration tests.
  • Conducting Social Engineering assessments and physical security reviews.
  • Reviewing of system implementations and configurations against security baselines.
  • Conducting research and developing tools, techniques and processes.
  • Participating and contributing to Information Security conferences organized internally and externally.
  • Contributing to the KPMG Global penetration testers network.
  • Preparing reports and presentations.

The individual:

  • University degree or higher education in Information Security, Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Any professional qualification such as CEH, CREST, OSCP, CISA, CISSP or similar will be considered as an advantage.
  • Any work experience in Penetration testing methodologies and tools will be considered as an advantage for the Junior Advisor entry level, or 2-3 years of proven relevant working experience for the Senior Advisor entry level.
  • Knowledge in commercial and open source security tools, frameworks and platforms.
  • Good knowledge in IT infrastructure and network security architecture (Firewalls, VPNs, Intrusion Detection), web and database systems, Windows and UNIX operating systems.
  • Programming experience in Python, Perl, Ruby, .NET, PHP or other interpreted or compiled languages.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Greek and English.
  • Professionalism, self-motivation, career orientation, enthusiasm, team working spirit.
  • Willingness to travel abroad
